In 2026, I gathered my court and attended my first ren faire, filming and editing content for the only renaissance faire in Rhode Island.
‘Gather Your Court’ Commercial:
This edit was a fun leadup to build excitement for the faire, now in its second year. I also shot the footage of this year’s court characters. 🐌🐶🐰🦆
Grassroots Piracy:
Every fairegoer at the OSRF had the chance to vote for which of the four courts they thought should lead the Kingdom of the Saugatucket. They also had a chance to vote for an underdog (undercat?) grassroots candidate, who I spent some time following on the campaign trail.
I timed this edit to go up on RI Primary Election Day.
We’ll Take Our Leave and Go…
After all the revelry was through, I turned around this highlight reel within 24 hours of the faire ending. All of the clips used here are selects from the 3.5 hours of footage I had taken all weekend. 😮
